The Hikurangi Foundation catalyses projects that result in action - action that makes sense for the climate and makes sense for people too.
To help us pick what projects to do we use Themes. Our current five are:
- Boost cycleways and low carbon tourism - helping build cycleways and a low-carbon and resilient tourism industry in New Zealand
- Ignite new networks to take action - ensuring effective action on sustainability is not just for greenies
- Grow the market for more energy efficient homes - improving the comfort, running costs and resale value of homes
- Illuminate New Zealand’s low carbon Pathway - active in the conversation about the scale and pace of positive and effective climate action in New Zealand
- Galvanise green giving - tapping the opportunity for donors to make a bigger difference.
